A detailed workshop on the rheology of asphalt materials was held June 27-July 1 at the Asphalt Institute (AI) headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.
A joint initiative of Abatech and AI, the four-day workshop introduces the basic principles of rheology as they apply to asphalt binders and mixtures. Participants will also be introduced to measurement principles and analytical concepts.
This interactive course incorporates hands-on laboratory instruction with classroom work. Dr. David Anderson, Dr. Geoffrey Rowe and the AI staff led the workshop.
