Long-Life pavement design workshops held for DOTs

The Asphalt Pavement Alliance provided workshops on long-life pavement design using the APA’s PerRoad software for Tennessee DOT in Nashville (August 13) and Georgia DOT in Atlanta (August 15). These seminars were moderated by AI Regional Engineers Gary Fitts and Bob Horan and arranged in cooperation with Gene Arnold (Ergon) and David Moellering (Georgia Asphalt Pavement Association).

Dr. Dave Newcomb (NAPA) and Dr. David Timm (Auburn University) provided the instruction. In Nashville, the attendees were principally pavement design representatives for TDOT and the FHWA Division office. In Atlanta, the group included GDOT pavement designers and FHWA.
