Lecture will honor MonismithThe Geo-Institute (G-I) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is establishing a lecture in recognition of Professor Carl L. Monismith?s sustained contributions to pavement engineering over a 50-year career.

Professor Monismith?s extensive research and writing in pavement design, rehabilitation, and management have earned him numerous awards and honors, including election to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE).

The C.L. Monismith Lecture will be awarded annually for outstanding research contributions in pavement engineering. Endowment funding for this lecture is being raised through tax-deductible contributions to ASCE. Donations equaling or exceeding $100, $500, $1,000, $2500 and $5000 will be recognized as bronze, copper, silver, gold and platinum levels, respectively.
