Indiana LTAP names new director

A former AI field engineer has been named to head Indiana’s Local Technology Assistance Program (LTAP). Purdue University Civil Engineering Professor Dr. John Haddock, P.E., has been named Director of Indiana’s LTAP Center in West Lafayette, Indiana. John’s 18 years of experience in pavements and pavement materials, along with his teaching background, will be a great asset for moving forward with the Center’s purpose of injecting the latest, state-of-the-art technologies, into local agencies.

The LTAP centers were established by the Federal Highway Administration in 1982 in response to the need for funding and technical support for the more than 38,000 local units of government that build and maintain the nations local streets, roads, and bridges.
