At their annual meeting in December, the Asphalt Institute’s Board of Directors named Kat Crownover as their 2019 Chair. She is a Supply & Trading Manager for Valero Energy Corporation in San Antonio, Texas.
“As we embark on our centennial year, the Asphalt Institute has so much to celebrate by reflecting on the past, acknowledging the present challenges and preparing for the future,” said Crownover.
“AI demonstrates through its membership that actively participating in committees and task forces helps drive our mission to promote the use of asphalt while providing educational tools and resources for the industry. It is a remarkable accomplishment for us and for our industry to be celebrating 100 years, ” she added.
Bob Cheever was named Vice Chair for 2019. He is the president of Jebro, Inc. in Sioux City, Iowa.
