Representatives of the Asphalt Institute and FavoriteRoad.com were featured on the June 10 broadcast of America’s Truckin’ Network, a live call-in radio show on XM166 that reaches a national audience of thousands of professional drivers each night from midnight to five a.m.
AI president Pete Grass, AI senior regional engineer Wayne Jones, FavoriteRoad.com?s editor Layne Rider and AI marketing and membership director Brian Clark took to the airwaves in the early hours that Friday morning to talk about asphalt roads with the show’s host Steve Sommers.
The response from the listeners was terrific, with callers asking many insightful questions about pavements and sharing stories of their favorite roads. AI was the featured guest for the entire five hours of the broadcast with callers waiting to talk with guests the entire time.
