ARRA names technical director

The Asphalt Recycling & Reclamation Association (ARRA) Board of Directors recently signed a contract with Steve Muncy to serve as the Association’s first Technical Director, beginning September 1, 2006. Muncy is a 30-year veteran in marketing products and services to the highway industry, having started his career in the asphalt emulsion business, building and managing production facilities in Kansas and Missouri. After moving into a marketing position, he worked extensively in the modified asphalt and emulsion sector introducing new products to several regions of the US. He has presented and written about asphalt systems and pavement recycling.

In this new position, Muncy’s primary responsibility will be to promote increased participation in the NHI Asphalt Recycling Course, to create and present other, more targeted seminars, and to further enhance ARRA’s lines of communications with state, national and local agencies.
